11.30-12 Meet & Greet
12-12.30 Welcome & roundtable introductions from NMO’ers. Name, state, how long diagnosed, meds etc. OPTIONAL!
12.30 -1.45 Catered Lunch. Optional drinks are additional & can be paid for at the bar.
1.45 – 3.15 pm Guest Speakers:
- Professor Broadley, head of NMO Research in Australia
- Dr. Mark Marriott, MS & NMO Neurologist from Melbourne
- Dr. Sally Shaw, Psychologist
- Dr. Michael Levy, a world-renowned NMO Researcher & Neurologist from America on the day (via link only)
3.15-3.45 pm Question time to the experts
- Please prepare your questions beforehand & they will be collated prior to the event to avoid duplication
3.45-4 pm Inspirational 5 minute stories about living with NMO
4 pm Discussion re: the future of promoting NMO awareness in Australia and establishing an Australian NMO Foundation
The venue has disabled facilities, a lift to the Balcony Room, with plenty of room for wheelchairs/walkers and parking. Capacity for 120.
Cost to be confirmed, but around the $40pp and paid prior to the event.
