April 1 – Los Angeles, CA – This year serves as the 10th anniversary of the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation’s International NMO Patient Day. The day brought together patients, caregivers, family and friends to learn from and share with expert clinicians and researchers.

The program highlighted the progress made by industry leaders in their work towards effective treatments for neuromyelitis optica (NMO) and its spectrum disorder (NMOSD). Medical advisor to the foundation and moderator, Dr. Michael Yeaman, provided the framework for the day with opportunities for those in attendance to learn about these scientific breakthroughs, preparing for a new era of NMO therapies.

The founder of the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation, Victoria Jackson, expressed gratitude to all involved for the progress made on behalf of the NMOSD community.
