The Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation (GJCF) NMOSD Grand Rounds program aims to inform practicing neurology specialists as well as the broader spectrum of neurologists and allied healthcare providers regarding latest information in evidence-based science and medicine of NMOSD. This program features 12 essential topics addressed by experts in the field at a monthly interval.
Presented by Scott Zamvil of the University of California, San Francisco, Session 4 entitled “Pathogenesis & Immunologic Targets” is designed to update knowledge important for understanding pathogenesis and corresponding immunologic targets and mechanisms of action of approved NMOSD therapeutics. Application of this knowledge is intended to facilitate best clinical outcomes and minimize long-term disability in NMOSD.
