The Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation (GJCF) NMOSD Grand Rounds program aims to inform practicing neurology specialists as well as the broader spectrum of neurologists and allied healthcare providers regarding latest information in evidence-based science and medicine of NMOSD. This program features 12 essential topics addressed by experts in the field at a monthly interval.  Organized and curated by GJCF advisors, this series of educational webinars enables continuing medical education (CME) credit.  

Presented by Jacqueline Palace, BM (Hons), FRCP, DM of  Oxford University, Session 6 entitled โ€œEvidence-Based Rescue Strategies for Relapseโ€ is designed to update knowledge important for understanding potential therapeutic options to mitigate inflammatory mechanisms of NMOSD relapse and prevent or limit disability thereof. Specific discussion points in this regard include medical and procedural (plasma exchange) options based on clinical expertise and experience as well as case reports in the field.
