You've found the New Mexico NMO Support Group!
New Mexico NMO Support Group is open to anyone with neuromyelitis optica / spectrum disorder (NMO/SD), optic neuritis (ON), and transverse myelitis (TM), as well as their caregivers, family, and friends.
We will have monthly calls with an in-person meeting planned in the near future.
Since NMO is a rare disease, patients are very spread out all over the U.S. and the world. The goal of this group is to provide a safe forum to connect in the southwest region of the U.S., yet we welcome anyone who wants to call into the teleconferences no matter where you live.
Our group will focus on enhancing life with NMO, sharing experiences, tips, and also fundraising efforts to find a cure.
