Dr. Kenji Jones is a dedicated and compassionate licensed marriage and family therapist with over a decade of experience in providing mental health services to diverse populations. Dr. Jones is also a self-published author of 2 books and is the founder and CEO of Aspire to Inspire Motivational Services; a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness to underserved and underrepresented communities through outreach and engagement.

@dr_kayjaylmft will be joining the group Saturday to discuss possible strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and more!

Winter is here and temperatures are dropping. To avoid nerve pain and cold sensitivity, take some steps to keep yourself protected! ❄️☃️

Plan ahead. Pay attention to the weather forecast and if you’re going outside, bring travel blankets or extra layers to combat the cold.

Avoid Caffeine. Caffeine can cause blood vessels to narrow, limiting blood flow and increasing the chance of nerve pain. Try a nice warm decaffeinated tea!

Keep temperatures consistent. Avoid dramatic shifts in temperature. Make sure you take a gradual approach, and start at a lower heat with a heat pad or warm bath.
